In order to secure service Maple Street Market Catering will require a signed Catering Agreement and/or non-refundable deposit.

Quoted prices are good for 60 days, unless extreme market conditions necessitate a price increase in which case the client will be notified and given the opportunity to approve or change the menu accordingly.

VENUE INFORMATION

The client is responsible for securing the location of the event, as well as any tables, chairs, tents, stages, and trash removal that may be required. The client is responsible for arranging for adequate set up and break down time at the venue. This will vary by type, size, and scale of event and will be discussed at the time of booking. It may be necessary to meet with the client at the venue to discuss logistics, set up / break down details, and expectations prior to signing a Catering Agreement. Any such meetings will be arranged with the venue by the client.

Any charge to Maple Street Market Catering by the venue will be billed to the client.

Maple Street Market Catering reserves the right to refuse an event based on venue.

DEPOSITS AND PAYMENT


A deposit may be required at the time of booking. Deposit amounts vary based on event and client type. All deposits are non-refundable.

Payment in full is expected at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

Terms for customers with approved credit are Net 30 days. A 5% finance charge will be assessed for each 30 days that the bill remains unpaid. The client is responsible for all collection and legal fees associated with non- payment.

Any expense incurred at the time of the event, such as exceeding the guaranteed count, overtime charges, etc., will be invoiced after the event and are subject to Net 30 day terms.

All events will be charged 6% Kentucky sales tax unless a valid tax exempt certificate is provided prior to or with payment. Any tax refunded on events paid by personal or business check will sent via online bill pay after the payment check has cleared.

MENU SELECTION


Final menu selection is due ten business days prior to the event.

Published menu prices are subject to change without notice, based on fluctuating prices of food and supplies.

DIETARY RESTRICTIONS / FOOD ALLERGIES

Most reasonable dietary restrictions and food allergies can be accommodated with advance notice. To ensure guest satisfaction and safety please advise Maple Street Market of any dietary restrictions or food allergies no later than three business days before the event. Last minute requests may not be able to be accommodated.

Common food allergens are present at Maple Street Market. While every effort is taken to prevent cross contamination we are not an allergen free environment. If a guest has severe allergies or concerns please have them contact Maple Street Market prior to the event.

GUARANTEED FINAL COUNT


Final guest count is due by 12:00 pm three business days prior to the event. If the final guest count is not provided by 12:00 pm three business days prior to the event the estimated guest count will be used for purchasing and staffing. Guest count cannot be reduced after this deadline.

Substantial increases in guest count within three business days of the event may necessitate Maple Street Market Catering to change the menu based on product availability.

All food orders placed, finalized, or changed within three business days of the event may be subject to a billing rate of 1.5 times the contract price.

Final billing on “per guest” events will be based on the actual number of guests or the guaranteed final count, whichever is greater.

CANCELLATION FEES

All deposits are non-refundable.

Events may be canceled with ten business days notice without penalty, minus any deposit.

Events canceled with less than ten business days but more than 48 hours notice will be charged 50% of the contract price, minus any deposit.

Events canceled with less than 48 hours notice will be charged the full contract price, minus any deposit.

Events canceled because of extreme weather conditions or acts of God may be rescheduled without penalty at the discretion of Maple Street Market Catering.

STAFFING CHARGES

Staffing needs will be determined by Maple Street Market Catering and the client will be charged accordingly. All staffing charges will be outlined in the catering agreement.

Any additional staffing charges due to increased guest count or if the staff is not able to begin the breakdown process at the agreed upon time will

be billed according to our billing policy as stated in the DEPOSITS AND PAYMENT section above.

HEALTH AND SAFETY REGULATIONS


For “per guest” events all leftover food and beverage remain the property of Maple Street Market Catering and cannot be removed by the client or guests. Maple Street Market Catering will not be held liable for the quality or safety of any food removed by the client or guests without our knowledge.

For pick up and drop off events that are billed “a la carte” all leftover food, beverage, and disposable supplies are the property of the client. The client assumes all responsibility for food safety, including time and temperature holding, at the time of pick up or delivery and at the conclusion of the event. Maple Street Market Catering will not be held liable for food safety after it has left our facility.
